Gunmen suspected to be assassin have killed Olufon of Ifon, Oba Isreal Adeusi, in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The first class monarch was accosted and killed when he was on his way back to his palace from Akure after attending meeting.
The report indicate that it only the monarch that was shot, and no valuable was taken from the car.
His corpse, has been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre, Akure.
The family member who speak on the issue, said that he was assassinated, because no one was shot from the car, except the monarch.
Adeusi ascended the throne about 23 years ago and was in his 60s, before the sudden elimination.
