ZABARMARI MASSACRE:Gov. Zulum Recieved Federal Delegation Call For the Recruitment of Borno Youths into Military and police

The delegation also visit the Shehu Of Borno, Zambarmari community, the Scene of the attacks

Following the killings of famers at koshobe village of Zambarmari, Jere Local Government and their Mass burial yesterday, today, the Executive governor of Borno state, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum Mni fnse received a high powered delegation of the federal government on a sympathy visit.

The delegation was led by the Senate president, Sen. Ahmed Lawan and have the following people in the team.

Prof Gambari, the Chief of staff to the President.
Hon Minister of FCT.
Hon Minister of Communication and Digital Economy.
Hon minister of state Agriculture.
Hon Minister of state works and Housing.
National Security Adviser.
Special Assistant to the president on Media and Publicity.

Presenting the president’s massage, the Senate President said that the President was grieved with the killings of the famers in Zambarmari and assured the good people of Borno and Nigerians that the incident is pathetic and Promised to strengthen biallatral Relations with the neighbouring countries to intensity the fight against insugency.

Sheikh Dr. Ali Isa pantami, Minister of Communication and Digital Economy on behalf of the Federation performed a special Prayers to the deacesed and for peace to Reign in the country.

Responding on behalf of the good people of the state, Gov Babagana Umara Zulum appreciated President Buhari for sending such high powered delegation to the state and his tireless efforts in providing relative peace in the state and North East state in general.

However, the Governor on behalf of the good people of Borno and North East state fowarded some critical Recomendations which includes:

The need to recruit youths from the state into the Military and police and to be posted to the state.

The need to strengthen bilateral Relations with neighboring countries to intensifies the war against insugency.

And also called for the eqiuping of the police and Military with armoured Vechiles and other sophisticated war equipment as the urgent requirement for the clearance of Sambisa Forest.

The Governor on behalf the entire North East called for increase budgetry allocation for the sub Region, saying the region is being short change in all federal government policies which he said if not address, the issue of peace in the state and the region will be a nightmare

The delegation also paid sympathy visit to his Eminence, The Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Garbai Alamin Elkanemi and Zambarmari community, particularly to the Scene of the attecks where they show sympathy to the families of the victims and prayed for reposed of the deceased.
