We need to start thinking differently to secure the future of the youths – Gov Abdulrazaq

Kwara State governor, Abdulrazaq Abdulrahaman, has said that the state government are putting things in place to secure feature for the youths in Kwara State.

The governor disclose this today after speaking with Kwara youths delegation to Nigerian youths Parliament.

He said “Today, I spoke with the Kwara State delegation to the Nigerian Youths Parliament. I discussed our plans to soon launch Kwapreneur, a scheme that will provide seed capital for our enterprising youths. We are determined to change the story of Kwara from civil service state to an enterprising state where youths can get up and achieve their goals.

We need to start thinking differently to secure the future of the youths. That is why we are coming up with innovation hub for our students and youths to start learning coding and software development. COVID-19 has shown us that people can work from anywhere.

We are also considering a partnership with KWASU to develop a masterclass for cinematography. This will help our youths with executing artistic ideas.

Above all, we are always open to suggestions from young people on how we can best tailor our initiatives to suit them.”
