CBN applied and obtained court order to freeze the account of 19 individuals and one corporate entity on the allegation that they sponsored the recent nation wide protest.
Meanwhile,the protest was not met to be with violence,until hoodlumbs took over.
freezing of #ENDSARS protesters account is a gross violation of citizen right and an attack on freedom of speech.
Suprisingly,this is the same government that commented the youth for embarking on a peaceful protest ,but has come around to haunt them.Does it mean the rights of Nigeria citizens are being restricted?
The government gave the impression that it want to attend to the demands of the protesters.The president and vice president please with the people to suspend the violence and called for a dialogue.now the same government is seen arresting people taking them to court and freezing their account without their notice.
Nigeria government is one for the people,,and so such actions carried out by the government is uncalled for and may cause future protest.
