Boko haram fighters always come to the field with Anti- Aircraft guns to deal with Nigerian soldiers yet Nigerian soldiers cannot do the same because of international laws and treaties on war guidelines. why will you use a gun meant to shoot down planes on normal human beings?
If our soldiers do the same, Amnesty International will be on their neck and complaining of human rights violations. How do you fight with an AK-47 when your enemy is carrying QF 13 pounder Mk IV AA gun as we have in the images below? Siri Lanka and India did not defeat the Tamil Tigers rebels by obeying international laws when they fought a terrorist organization. Today, Tamil Tigers are gone. Boko haram is a terrorist organization.
Like my brother Juwon Tunde said, we must begin to damn all these international rules on war and deal with Boko haram with everything we have at our disposal.
Why will Nigerian soldiers observe international rules on war when the enemy does not reciprocate that same gesture. We can’t continue to enter into this gun fight with a wooden spoon. It’s time to mess Boko boys up if we must end this war.
We must also stop the rehabilitation of “repented” Boko haram members. we are wasting billions of naira on these monsters and yet it has not yielded any gain. The so-called rehabilitated, refurbished and repented Boko haram members on discharge go back into the field to fight for Boko haram and kill our soldiers after they have rested very well and enjoyed at rehabilitation centers. This program must end now. Let these billions be used to buy more weapons for our military.
Amnesty international must tell us whose interest they’re serving.
