This is Damasak town in Borno state prior to the insurgency. The town was Nigeria’s largest producer of Onion, Pepper. The equally produce so many other vegetables, such as eggplant, tomato, carrot, etc.
Pepper market in the town was an international market, where buyers across Chad republic, Niger and even Cameroon come to patronize it.
