Gov Fintiri Flags Off Constructions, Renovations In Ganye General Hospital

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Wednesday flagged off constructions and renovation in Ganye general hospital that include constructions and renovation of the Laboratory Complex, Paediatric Ward, Female Surgical Ward and the Theatre Complex of the General Hospital.

In his address at the event that held at Ganye general hospital, Governor Umaru Fintiri said the General Hospital Ganye is one of the strategically located Secondary Health Facilities which has a wide catchment area in the Southern Senatorial Zone.

“Besides delivering Secondary Health Care which include surgical services, the facility also provides so much desired referral services to numerous Primary Health Service Delivery Points across several local governments in the Senatorial zone,” he pointed.

The Commissioner of Health, Professor Abdullahi Isa said the constructions and renovation was to upgrade the Ganye general hospital and called on patients and staff of the hospital to support the contractor for speedy completion of the project.

The Executive Chairman Ganye local government council, Reverend Habila Istifanus and member representing Ganye constituenty in the state Assembly Alhassan Hammanjoda thanked Governor Fintiri for executing peoples oriented projects in the area and appealed for construction of road from motor park to Gangwoki in Ganye town.

Meanwhile, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has commissioned Yalaki health Clinic the second after the Luggere primary clinic in Jimeta built by the state government in collaboration with Savings One Million Lives Initiative.
