The Oyo State former House of Representative candiate, Dr Fatai Aborode has been killed by gunmen.
Dr. Fatai Aborode, who contested for House of Rep position in the State under Accord party in 2015 was killed Friday evening.
Late Aborode who recently defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state was killed near his farm, along Apodun village in Iganagan town in Oyo State, yesterday 11th of December 2020.
Igangan is in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of the state.
Our correspondent learnt that Aborode was repeatedly shot by the gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
A source disclosed that Aborode and his manager were attacked on their way back home by the assailant suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
