One person killed and another injured in an attack by bandits at Humbutudi in Maiha Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
According to report, the attack was launched on Saturday evening 12 December.
It was learnt that the bandit killed one person and injured another after shooting randomly to scare residents away.
According to eyewitness, the bandits took away valuable items. “They looted the biggest provision shop in the community”
The dead was identified as Yaya Bulus and the injured as Godwin James. Yaya was said to have been shot in the leg while Godwin was shot in the abdomen.
Godwin died in the Maiha cottage hospital while being taken there for treatment.
Maiha Council Chairman, Hon Idi Ali Amin who confirmed the incident said, “The attack is intolerable. It was the first attack after an international peace meeting which I initiated and hosted.”
