His Royal Majesty, Monday Obukowho Whiskey, the traditional ruler of Idjerhe Kingdom in Ethiope West laid a curse on all criminal including cultists who go about killing in the community.
The traditional cleansing was done on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Omokoshoban learnt that the cleansing was as a result of cult killings, kidnapping, fraud and other crimes that have been going on in the community.
It was gathered that different Native doctors from 42 communities of Idjerhe kingdom were gathered the traditional headquarters of Idjerhe on Friday, December 18.
It was said that traditional prayers were offered using a duck, puppy and a rooster while they poured libation.
It was also gathered that the traditional ruler and members of the community lamented about the cases of death as he ask the gods of the land to visit the perpetrator of the crimes in the kingdom.
Omokoshaban understands that indigenes were warned to desist from crime-related activity or strange illness will fall on them.
