Five soldiers has died in a fresh ambushed suspected to be Boko Haram members.
The information reaching omokoshaban revealed that some soldiers mobilized from different units and barracks, include Ekehuan Barrack Benin City, were on their way going to Borno to fight Boko Haram when they were attack yesterday 9th of January 2021 along Biu road.
We learn that five of the soldiers were confirmed deaths while others escaped.
The escaped soldiers were yet to be found as the time of filing this report.
One of the soldier who survived the attack that speak with Omokoshaban says that they were mobilized to go to Borno traveling on the land without refiles with them except the backup.
Body of the soldiers killed has been deposited in the Mortuary, while the injure ones are receiving treatment in unconfirmed hospital.
He said, they were told that until they get to Borno before they will be issued refiles.
