Ebira Land in Kogi State and Water Problem

For the records, one of the major problem the good people of Ebira land and Kogi Central Senatorial District by extension has been facing is “Water Scarcity” especially during this type of season.

Above also formed one of the numerous reasons Ebira people has been longing and praying to have their person piloting the affairs of the state with the hope that this very yearly water scarcity challenges will be laid to rest.

Obviously, we have seen series of intervention projects like drilling of all forms of boreholes courtesy of some of our representatives and some individuals in the land but we’ve not overcome the problem yet as some of boreholes will stop working some days after commissioning.

To the glory of God, we’ve the miraculous coming on board of His Excellency Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello as the Executive Governor of Kogi State who also hails from Ebira Land.

His Excellency Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello appointed an Ebira man as the state commissioner for water resources in his first tenure and also appointed another Ebira man in his second term that commenced last year in same capacity.

With above trend, one can conclusively say that, His Excellency Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello is fully aware of water scarcity problem in Ebira land and also wish to put an end to the challenges before his tenure elapses with the help of God.

I hereby appealed to the present commissioner for water resources, and other relevant stakeholders specifically from Kogi Central Senatorial District to up their games and help their people to lay this very yearly problem to a conclusive end while we still have the opportunity to do so.

We’re aware of every efforts but it’s not enough yet as the people are still suffering in getting water.

With the completion of the Osara and Ekuku Dam project, we’ll get out of this challenges.

Those who came on congratulatory visit that later claimed to be the most loyal should not paint us bad because of this very clamour. Let achieve this together so that posterity will be Fair to our Leaders and we Followers.
