The Governor of Delta State Ifeanyi Okowa has called for investigation into the assassination of his Senior Special Assisting (SSA) on youths killed by unknown gunmen on Saturday.
In a statement on his official Facebook page, Okowa said”
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I mourn the death of Comrade Okiemute Sowho, who was my Senior Special Assistant on Youth until he was killed by unknown gunmen in Sapele on Saturday.
I commiserate with his family and call on all our security agencies to investigate Comrade Sowho’s death and bring all the perpetrators to justice.
As we mourn Sowho’s passing, we will always remember his role in politics and the development of his people, his community, his local government and indeed, Delta State. His memory and achievements will remain an inspiration for other young people in politics.”
