Gunmen Invade Osewu and Ogate, Egbura Community in Nasarawa State Killed 12 People include Community Chief

Two of the Egbura communities, Osewu and Ogate in Nasarawa state is currently in high tensions following the invasion of the communities by unknown gunmen.

Omokoshaban gathered that 12 people include the community chief were killed in the attack that happen early hours of today morning 10th of March 2021.

No groups has claim responsibility of the attack.

But some of the community members that speak with our correspondent said that they are suspecting one tribe known as Bassa.

According to him, Bassa has always wanted to eliminate all Egbura In Nassarawa and Kogi State.

He said many times, the same Bassa tribes has lunch attack on the communities, but they were always repelled by the communities youth.

On this case, “we were taken by surprise” he said.

Ibrahim said ” no other people or tribes that will attack us like this but, Bassa.

They have always wanted to Killed all Egburas, but God will not answer their prayer.

This is not the first time they are attacking us, even last year they attack us several time, but communities youths always repelled them.

But this time around we were taken by surprise.”

Ibrahim further said, we are burying our dead first, if government like they should arrest the oilers if they like they should, all we know is that we will revenge. “

As the time of filing this report, Police are yet to comment on the incident.
