Police arrest Three Jukum Fishermen, over attack on Ortom despite Fulani Militia has claimed Responsibility of Attack

Three Jukun fishermen have been arrested by the police in connection with last Saturday’s attack on convoy of Benue Governor Samuel Ortom along Tyo Mu, Makurdi.

Security Adviser to Ortom, Col. Paul Hemba, confirmed the arrest while conducting newsmen round the scene of the attack on Tuesday.

Hemba stated the police team found the fishermen close to the scene of the attack and are being investigated.

The arrested is come day after Fulani militia has claimed responsibility of the attack.

According to the report, that has already goon viral, the Fulani militia who claim responsibility of the attack vow to assassinate Governor Ortom and other Southern governors.
