Barely 24 hours unknown gunmen allegedly attack police station in Imo State setting the station ablaze, another Gunmen has attack another police station again in Imo state.
Omokoshaban learn that the gunmen attacked Police Headquarters in Mbieri Local government of Imo State at about 1am on 8th of April 2021.
The gunmen were said to have overpowered the police and free some suspect under custody.
Recall that Gunmen allegedly attack Imo Prison four days ago and free over 1500 Prisoners.
Few days after the attack on the prison, the same gunmen attack Imo police State, set the station ablaze and free suspect under police custody.
According to Sahara Reporters, one police officer were Kidnapped during the recent attack and two officer injured.
The rate of attack on security personnel in the South-East is uprising.
Recall that last week, security checking point we are attack in Akwa Ibom state, some police officers and soldier which were on duty at the checking point were killed and their vehicles set ablaze.
That led to military operations which was carried out in the local government this week and many people were killed.
Reacting to the development, Nigeria army said that the criminals involved in The killing of soldiers and police officers within the local government on the operations carried out on the 6th of April 2021.
Meanwhile some Nigerians claim that army allegedly kill innocent Nigerians and the local government.
