U.S Celebrate Kelechi Ndukwe, First Nigerians U.S Navy Commander Missile Destroyer

The United State of America I’ve taken to it official social media handle to celebrate a Nigerian who was appointed recently as US Navy Commander, Kelechi Ndukwe.

Kelechi Ndukwe was appointed recently as the US Navy commander missile destroyer.

Ndukwe became the first Nigerian American captain to be appointed as commander in the US Navy.

Celebrating his appointment, U.S mission to Nigeria took to it official facebook page to congratulate him.

The mission post read “Kudos to Kelechi Ndukwe on his new role as commander of a U.S. Navy Guided Missile Destroyer. The University of Notre Dame and the U.S. Naval War College alumnus becomes the first Nigerian-American captain of a U.S. Navy ship. Congratulations!”
