Talk Zone: Marry one wife when you have the means to care for two, three or four woman is a sin in Islam?

The issue of polygamous has been a bond of contentions in African culture most especially those who found themselves attach to religions.

Young Muslims women of now are days don’t want to share their husband with another woman.

We have seen, and here case we’re woman killed their co-wife over Jealousy.

Also we have seen many case we’re woman Stabbed husband to death for trying to take second wife.

In Islam a man is encouraged to marry more than one wife.

Like what the Quran said, a man should marry two or three or four women, if he has the mean to care for them, but if you don’t have the means to care for them, you are advice to marry one.

وَإِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ أَلَّا تُقۡسِطُواْ فِي ٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ فَٱنكِحُواْ مَا طَابَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ مَثۡنَىٰ وَثُلَٰثَ وَرُبَٰعَۖ فَإِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ أَلَّا تَعۡدِلُواْ فَوَٰحِدَةً أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُكُمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدۡنَىٰٓ أَلَّا تَعُولُواْ

Wa-in khiftum alla tuqsitoo feealyatama fankihoo ma tabalakum mina annisa-i mathna wathulathawarubaAAa fa-in khiftum alla taAAdiloo fawahidatanaw ma malakat aymanukum thalika adnaalla taAAooloo

And if ye fear that ye will not deal fairly by the orphans, marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four; and if ye fear that ye cannot do justice (to so many) then one (only) or (the captives) that your right hands possess. Thus it is more likely that ye will not do injustice.

Now the question is if the holy book told Muslim Mary two women if he has means to cater for the two of them, now for those that have the money to care for even more than 10 women is it a sin for them if they marry only one?
