The newly elected Chief of army staff, lieutenant general Ibrahim attahiru is dead.
Attahiru was said to have died in an air crash yesterday 21st of May 2021.
His death come few days after boko Haram terrorist leader Abubakar shekau will commit suicide.
Nigeria army public relation officer, brigadier general Mohammed Yerima said that hero died along with 10 other army officers including the crew member of the aircraft.

Read “The Nigerian Army regrets to announce the passing away of its Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru. The sad event occurred following an air crash in Kaduna which also claimed the lives of 10 other officers including the crew.
The COAS was enroute Kaduna from Abuja on Friday, 21 May, 2021 when the unfortunate incident happened.
Details of the sad incident and burial arrangements will be communicated soon.”
The tragic news of the death of the Nigerian chief of staff came few days after a boko Haram leader who has terrorize the country for the past 11 years allegedly committed suicide after its counterpart alleged captured him.
