Nigeria Police has been accused of arresting and parading innocent man as an Unknown Gunmen.
Man who names is yet to be reveal was paraded with four other men.
Jones wrote about the arrest “There are strong claims by people that at least one of the five people arrested by the police over yesterday’s attack in Orji Owerri is innocent. The young man whose pictures and attestations from relatives, friends and acquaintances have gone viral is said to have returned home for the funeral of his father-in-law and was at the point of his arrest on his way to purchase a casket for the funeral.
I urge the Commissioner of Police, Imo Stare Police Command to critically look at these claims and if he finds these claims to be true, quickly release the young man and tender an apology to the young man, his family and all Imolites. This step will go a long way in boosting the confidence of the Imo public in the police.”
