A sick man in an internally displaced persons, IDP camp in Nasarawa State that beg state government for medical attention has died.
The man identify as Thomas Iowundu, was said to have cried out two weeks ago when his health condition become critical.
His death was disclose to newsmen by the IDP Camp Administrator, Nicholas Kwatse.
According to Kwatse, the 42 years old Iowundu died in the Agyaragu camp last Sunday.
He lamented that the victim died without getting proper medical help.
“He died on Sunday in the IDP camp after waiting for citizens to come to his aid. But no help came.
“Plans are being made for his burial. He was a fine gentleman. He will be sorely missed,” he said.
Late Iowundu has earlier beg Nasarawa State government for help when his condition become critical two weeks ago.
Iowundu was part of the 12,800 Tiv farmers who recently fled their communities due to the unrest in the state.
