Panel investigating DCP Abba Kyati Indictment has not Submitted it Report — Nigeria Police

Nigeria Police has debunked report claiming that investigation of DCP Abba Kyati on Hushpuppi Indictment by FBI has come to conclusion.

Police in a statement signed by CP Frank Mba on the 17th of August says that the investigation is still ongoing, contrary to the online Media report which stated that report has been submitted.

The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the general public that the probe into the alleged indictment of DCP Abba Kyari by the FBI, being conducted by the NPF Special Investigation Panel (SIP), is still ongoing.

Members of the public are enjoined to note that the panel has not submitted its report to the Inspector General of Police, as being wrongly reported in some news outlet and online platforms.

The Force hereby reassures the public that the outcome of investigations by the probe panel would be communicated accordingly upon conclusion of the investigations.

NaijaBlog had earlier report that DCP Abba Kyati was indicted by FBI on Hushpuppi Fraud.

According to the report, DCP Kyati was said to have collected some money from Hushpuppi to jail a part in crime who sworn to expose Hushpuppi because he break their promise after collecting the money.
