A 25 years old man life has been cut short by a reckless Nigerian police officer.
The man identified as Moses Adam was killed by a stray bullet fired by police officer in Benin City Edo State.
Naijablog gathered that the incident happened on Friday 17th when the man visited Benin from Lagos for his sister wedding schedule for Saturday.
Edo State Police Command spokespersons, SP Kotong Bello said the young man was hit by a stray bullet fired by Police offer who was trying to arrest Murder Suspect, Ebuka Nwaechie.
He was rush to specialist hospital were he was pronounced dead.
Police further reveal that the Officer who fire the gun has been arrested and will be tried in the court of law.
However the deceased sister disagree with police report.
On her side of the story, She said:
My brother was not killed by a stray bullet as the police claimed. He was in at in the second car which Ebuka was not even inside. Why treating my brother the doctor told us that he was hit by a close-range bullet and that he lost so much blood before his death she said.
