Civil Service Commission chairman commends Gov AbdulRazaq

The Chairman Kwara State Civil Service Commission Hajia Habeebat Anike Yusuf commended the State governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for approving the issuance of year 2020 promotion letters and the commencement of 2021 promotion exercise.

The Chairman, stated this during a radio programme IJOBA AWARAWA recently held at Sobi FM, Ilorin.

According to her, 2,209 Cvil Servants sat for year 2020 promotion examination and interview out of which 98.87 percent passed.

Hajia Yusuf, noted that arrears of year 2020 promotion and that of 2021 had already been captured in the appropriation act of the out going year.

She added that the beneficiaries of the year 2020 promotion, who has been issued letters would begin to enjoy the financial benefit of the exercise barring any unforeseen circumstances.

“All those that are due for promotion usually have their names collated from the office of the State Head of Service and sent to Civil Service Commission.This year there was great improvement over 2019.

She, also stated that the State government has been very responsive, adding that funds and logistics were provided for all Ministries, Departments and Agencies which in turn improved the productivity of the Civil Servants and also for promotion.

The Commission chairman, enjoined the beneficiaries of the promotion and the Civil Servants at large to be proactive, dedicated, diligent, faithful and loyal to the government, just as she told them to be up and doing in their schedule.
