Harrison Gwamnishu: Human right activist Get Political Appointment

Human right activist, Harrison Gwamnishu has been inaugurated into Delta State government as a youth Representative for Delta State Rights Complaint committee.

He was innuagurated today by the state governor, Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.

Harrison who posted the development on his Facebook page, said;

CALL TO SERVE
Today I was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, as member Youth Representative Delta State Human Rights Complaint Committee saddled with the responsibility of protecting the RIGHTS of citizens and ensuring that Police officers respect the rights of all Deltans during their operations.

For the past six years, as a civil leader heading BEHIND BARS Human Rights Foundation. Without Government support, My team and I have carried our my duties diligently and ensured citizens are free from oppression and brutality.

The state Government led by Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa found me worthy to serve the people and I must do all I can to protect the people’s interest.

To my followers who has continued to support me unconditionally, God bless you all.
