As I predicted last week, the trial of Uduak Frank Akpan in connection with the gruesome murder of Iniubong Umoren, a graduate of the University of Uyo, who was killed, April this year, while on a job hunt in Uruan, is to begin afresh this Thursday.
This is coming as a new Judge, Justice Bassey Nkenang takes over the case from Justice Bennett Illaumoh who has been transferred to Itu Judicial Division.
Uduak Akpan is to take plea again before the new judge having pleaded guilty before Justice Illaumoh in July this year.
At the hearing of the matter this morning, the Court ordered the prosecution to produce one Bassey Anwan Akpan, who is said to be a sister to the first accused, Uduak Akpan.
