Baarong, the widow of activist, Tony Uranta has expressed her grief at the death of her husband.
On her Facebook page, Baarong, who also officially announced the death of her husband said, “I still find it hard to accept my darling husband left Amy and I so soon. I believed you’ll bounce back, however, who am I to question God. I’m grateful for the years we shared and all we built together. Now that you’ve gone to rest, because of the promise Christ made, I know your gentle soul is resting peacefully. Amen.”
Meanwhile, the President of Women Arise For Change, Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin has sent a condolence message to the Uranta family and also shared photos of when Professor Wole Soyinka visited the activist on his hospital bed.
