Bandits strike in Kogi State yesterday Sunday, Kidnapped some people while a Commissioner was shot.
The affected commissioner is Kogi State commissioner for Environment identify as Adewale Omofaiye
Naijablog Learnt that he was shot in the leg by the kidnappers.
The incident occurred around 5 pm on Sunday between Ikoyi and Iyara areas of the state as Omofaiye escaped being kidnapped, but not without a gunshot injury.
Three others people who were inside the car during the attacks were said have been abducted and taken into the bush.
