Gov Zulum Cleared N12B Outstanding debts, end Era of owing pensioners in Borno State

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state has declared outstanding pensioners debts worth N12 Billion in the state.

The governor made this known in a post share on his Official Facebook on the 2nd of December 2021.

According to him, while stating that in the next 48hrs every pensioners in Borno State will get credit on their bank account, said that owing people who have served the state for 35 -40 is since against God.

He said

“Today I have cleared off the N12Billion Naira outstanding. This bring to an end the era of owing pensioners. It should not be recorded in history that our parents who laboured for the state for the past 35-40 years of their lives could not get means of surviving after retirement, even God will not be happy. It is expected that in the next 48hrs, every pensioner should have been credited in their accounts”
