Whenever you see two or three young boys gathered now in Benin City, they Yahoo Boys.
Today in Benin, Yahoos is like hand work, they have Oga (Leader) where others upcoming young’s boys come and learn from there hands.
Parents now looks for professional yahoo boy and hand over his Son to him, so he can be trained on how to engaged in Yahoo Yahoo, (Internet Frauds).
I was playing with a little Boy of about 3 years old last month, I ask the boy what did you want to become when you grow up, his reply shocked me.
He said ” I want to be a Yahoo Boy when I grow up”.
So that how society has turn into.
At Igbioko quarter, I meet a man who was Pricing a second hand used laptop, with one of my customer.
I ask the man what did you want the laptop for considering your age, because he should up to 65 years, his appearance show how is not learnents.
He said his last son has been learning this there modern way of making money online for over five months now, last week he call and told him, he is ready to start his own, so he want to support him with the laptop.
So that how parents now support there children to indulge in fraud.
