The government of President Muhammadu Buhari has filed fresh terrorism charge against the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
The More woes for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as the federal government has filed fresh terrorism charges against him at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
The fresh charges were filed barely 24 hours before the IPOB leader is expected to be present at the court presided over by Justice Binta Nyako in the Nigerian capital.
The charge also is coming after the president turn down the request of Igbo elders who visited him in his office in Abuja last year request for the release of Kanu.
Buhari was said to have assured them, stating that he will see what he can do.
But few weeks after the promise, the president however said that he can’t free Nnamdi Kanu, stating that he should be ready to defend himself in court.
