Kanye West has filed an objection to his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian filing a request asking the court to divorce them and declare her single, pending the resolution of other matters in their marriage, reports TMZ.
Kanye’s lawyer filed for objection on the grounds that Kim might remarry and move some of their assets to her separate accounts.
According to reports, Kanye would agree to Kim becoming single, but only if safeguards are in place so joint assets remain as marital property.
It would be recalled that the couple signed a prenup that keeps all their assets separate.
This development comes in a week filled with Kanye bashing Kim’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson on social media.
