Harrison set to revisit case of woman whose hand was amputated over domestic violence that is yet to get justice

Harrison Gwamnishu, human right activist, has set to revisit a case of woman who has was amputated over domestic violence.

In a post share on his Facebook page, Harrison Gwamnishu said;

UPDATE: IN THE CASE OF A VICTIM OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE MRS ROSELINE WHOSE LEFT HAND WAS AMPUTATED.

This afternoon, I spoke to her and assured her of our support.

From findings;

The husband caused her grievous harm which led to her left hand being AMPUTATED.

The husband was arrested and charged to magistrate court.

From 2021 till date, case has not been fixed for trial as case file is currently missing.

After the Easter Holiday, our legal team will be meeting with the IPO, OC Legal Police command Cross River State, Chief magistrate and Attorney General.

We will update as soon as we kick off the process.
