A yet-to-be-identified boy has been arrested by men of the Nigerian police in Benin City, Edo State.
It was gathered that the suspect was arrested on Tuesday morning, April 19, 2022 with a severed human leg, believed to be that of a young boy.
According to an eyewitness, the suspect ran out of luck when he was stopped by the police at a checkpoint, and in a bid to evade arrest he tried to zoom off but rammed into a fence.
However, according to another version of the incident, it was claimed that the man was driving recklessly, lost control of the car and hit someone, leading to the leg getting cut off.
The Edo State police is yet to issue an official statement.
