How I Escaped ASUU Strike – Blogger, Adamazi

It was on 16th December, 2021 I had my Msc Internal defense and proceeded for Christmas holiday.

The department was supposed to hold external defense on 20th December but fortunately or unfortunately, it didn’t hold that day.

Immediately I got the news, I quickly jumped on my work and told myself I was going to join them when next they’ll hold external defense.

Had to put my Christmas jollification on hold, corrected my work and sent it in for plagiarism test. Luckily, I pulled through.

27th January 2022, we had our External Defense and graduated subsequently in record time. .

Few days after, ASUU embarked on strike which has lingered till this day and there’s no hope in sight.

Any IMSU Msc holder will perfectly understand what it takes to run internal and external defense in less than 2 months.

Its not like Nigerian students are not dedicated to their academics but ASUU strike has proven to be a major set back to actualizing one’s goals.

And it’s quite unfortunate that not everyone can afford a private or abroad university.

Furthering one’s education in this country has become so unappealing and I keep wondering where to buy a Doctorate Degree form.

Abi I should just marry and rest? 🙄😅🥴

I just like to get things done at the stipulated time frame and move to other things 😐

We move regardless.
