IPOB’s Sit-At-Home Order Paralyses Owerri

Commercial activities moved at a slow pace on Monday in Owerri, the Imo state capital as residents stayed indoors in compliance with the sit-at-home order declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Our correspondent, who monitored situation around town reports that public and private offices, including banks, schools and markets were shut.

Security operatives were sighted by our correspondent mounting road blocks at Orji Flyover on Owerri- Okigwe Road and on Aba- Owerri Road, respectively.
