Blasphemy: Sokoto State Governor, Tambuwal Declared 24hrs Curfew

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal has declared 24 hours curfew in the State Metropolis to halt ongoing protests in the State.

The governor announced the curfew few minutes ago,, after youths took to street to demand the release of some Muslim youth arrested for killing Deborah Samuel, Christian lady accused of insulting Prophet Muhammad.

But reacting to di protest, govnor Tambuwal say: “I hereby declare curfew for Sokoto metropolis for di next 24 hours. I dey beg pipo make dem calm down and allow goment handle di situation. Make pipo respect di rule of Law.”

Deborah Samuel, a Christian lady was killed by some Muslim youth and her body set Ablaze after she was accused of Blasphemy.
