Blasphemy: Reno Omokri Reveal What Bishop Told Him In Phone called yesterday, about his Church set Ablaze

Reno Omokri said he put a called to Bishop Kukah yesterday in Sokoto to acertain what is happening from the alleged attacked and set Ablaze of his Church by some Muslim youth.

Recalled some Muslim youth yesterday took to the street to protests, demand the release of some of their members arrested for killing Deborah Samuel, Christian lady accused of Blasphemy in Sokoto State.

Deborah, Shehu Shagari College Student was killed on the 12th of October 2022 and her body set Ablaze by the Muslims extremist.

In a post he made available on his Facebook page, Omokri said Kukah is safe, and his Church was not set Ablaze, but some cars and windows in the church was vandalized.

He them urge Muslims leaders not to let anything happen to him:

He said:

I have just spoken to Bishop Matthew Kukah. He is safe. He has not been harmed in any way. He informed me that some youths in the community broke windows in the Bishopric church and vandalised vehicles, but order has been restored. We thank God for his safety.

Nothing must happen to Bishop Kukah. We call on the Sarkin Musulumi, His Eminence, Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar, to intervene and ensure the safety of not just Bishop Kukah, but every Christian and church in Sokoto. More killings may push Nigeria over the brink.

A very good starting point will be for central religious authorities to get all clerics in both major religions to be prudent and mindful of the state of the nation in their sermons at this time and in the future. Inflammatory words may resound on social and traditional media, but they could cost lives.
