The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC has uncovers another N90b ‘fraud’ against Accountant-General, Ahmed Idris.
The new discovery bring the total of money stolen by Ahmed Idris to ₦170bn.
Ahmed Idris was an Accountant General the Federation, under President Muhammadu Buhari led government.
He was suspended early this month, May 2022 after EFCC uncovered that he stole total sum of ₦80 billion under his watch.
Further investigation, had yesterday uncovered that Ahmed Idris stole another ₦90 Billion under his watch.
Presently his is under EFCC custody as investigation is ongoing.
