Vice President Yemi Osinbajo allegedly stopped his convoy to assist Accident Victims early today morning when he was on his way to airport.
Laolu Akinde who share the photo on his social media handle allegedly debunked news claiming that the vice president involved in a car accident.
According to Akinde
On his way to the airport this morning, VP came across a road traffic accident, stopped to lend assistance, & ensured victim was taken to the hospital with VP’s convoy ambulance. He then proceeded on his trip and is now in Ondo State heading to site of yesterday’s attack in Owo. – Laolu Akande
Speaking on the accident, Osibanjo posted on his Facebook page:
Thank you all for the calls and concern, I was not involved in an accident. On my way to the airport to travel to Ondo, we ran into an accident scene. My security and medical teams assisted in removing the victims of the crash from the scene
They have been transported to the Airforce Base hospital.
