Earlier today, General Buhari gave his last Democracy Day speech, which was, as usual, a tissue of lies, and a desperate attempt to rewrite history, and was a sad reminder of the seven wasted locust years that Nigeria has endured under a most irresponsible, callous, tribalistic, and totally irredeemable government.
General Buhari’s Democracy Day speech was an admission of failure. He admitted that insecurity is worse, that the economy is under, and that corruption is now official. The speech was an advertisement for why Nigerians should reject the APC.
In his Democracy Day Speech, Buhari said the party primaries were all transparent. That may have been true for the PDP, but certainly not for the APC. The shenanigans were televised. Counting from 79-80. Counting off screen. The APC primary were anything but transparent. The best word to describe that primary is SHADY!
Buhari told the candidates to run an issue based campaign in his speech. If he truly believes that, then Buhari must lead by example and practice what he preached by first arresting and prosecuting Bola Tinubu for violating the Money Laundering Act of 2011, by ferrying Bullion vans out of his residence on Election Day 2019.
If those Bullion vans were coming out of the homes of an Un-anointed politician, he would have been arrested. Look at how the Economist and Financial Crimes Commission stormed Rochas Okorochas home. Let them storm Tinubu’s Bourdilon home if they are impartial!
Buhari said he took steps “to reform and enhance our electoral systems”. Does he think we are fools? This is a man that introduced ‘inconclusive elections’ to our political lexicon. This is a man who attempted to appoint his spokeswoman as an INEC commissioner!
In his speech, Buhari asked Nigerians to “put all victims of terrorist activities in our thoughts and prayers.” Is that why Buhari himself threw a party in Aso Rock on the day #OwoMassacre occurred? Is that how to put victims in our prayers? Oloriburuku man!
Buhari promised to seek justice for victims of terror. Buhari is either a buffoon or a sadist for saying that. Of the over 235 terror attacks during the 7 unfortunate years of Buhari, he has not brought justice for any victims. Instead he rewards ‘repentant’ Boko Haram
Buhari ended his useless Democracy Day speech by making a “commitment to protect Nigeria and Nigerians from all enemies.” Whet a joke. Even his wife does not believe him. She has relocated to Dubai for her own safety. Believe Buhari and you will believe anything
