The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has been awarded the best Public Sector use of Social Media for Citizens’ Engagement by DigiVation Network- a leading Media outfit- at the African Future Summit, 2022.
NIMC was ranked first amongst all the MDAs in terms of the fluidity, rich information, efficient and effective use of the social media platforms for citizens’ engagement
The award is a testament to the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS) as championed by the visionary Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami), the pragmatic DG/CEO,NIMC, Engr Aliyu A Aziz, and the hardworking staff of the NIMC.
