Rent House to Yahoo Boys and get 15yrs Jail Term – EFCC Tell Nigerian Landlord

Landlords in Nigeria are to spend not less than 15 years in prison if they found guilty for renting an apartment to Yahoo Boys.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) has sent serious warning to landlord in Nigeria.

The commission disclose that they are ready to charge landlords that rent out an apartments to internet fraudsters commonly known as Yahoo Boys to court.

In the warning statement made available on it social media handle, EFCC stated that any landlords found guilty of renting house to Yahoo Boys would spend 15 years in prison.

The anti-graft agency made this known via its official Instagram page while calling on members of the public to attend a town hall meeting themed; “Landlord: Give Your House to Yahoo Boys, Spend 15 Years in Jail” to hold on June 29, 2022.

It wrote; ”Okay now! What a juicy topic! E go sweet wella! Landlord way yaho-boy dey stay for him house, my people, na 15 years imprisonment for the landlord o! E don set!
