The United Kingdom says it has signed a major deal to speed up deportations of foreign criminals to Nigeria.

UK Home secretary, Priti Patel, made this known in a statement Thursday, June 30.

According to her, the agreement will tackle illegal migration and promote “shared bilateral economic interests”. It will see offenders receive new travel documents within five working days.
