Harrison Gwamnishu Retrieved ₦100,000 Nigeria Police Stole from It Citizens

Human Rights Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu has retrieved ₦100,000 from Nigerian Police Force.

The money was forcefully Stolen from Nigerian Citizen by the police on Checking point.

Sharing the development on his Facebook page, Harrison said:

Today, we were at Ogwashi Uku when we received a distress call from one Benjamin Ogeyi reporting Police officers mounting checkpoint under the Interbau Bridge Asaba.

The victim who works with a bottled water factory narrated to us how the officers saw a bank deposit slip in his possession and threatened to M! SS him if he doesn’t pay to free himself.

They showed him where to make a withdrawal (POS Close to their checkpoint) and withdrew N100,000 and handed over to them.

After complaint verifications, we OBIDIENTLY met with the officers and demanded a full refund of the money.

In less than 20 minutes, the money they already shared amongst themselves was handed back to us in full.

We don’t have power to prosecute or dismiss these officers for this broad daylight robbery BUT we will keep exposing this cases widely and hope we get it right soonest.

I wish to call the attention of Nigeria Police Force Delta State Command, Bright Golden Edafe to quickly sanction these officers and their likes and reach out to the victim through Special Assistant to Delta State Governor Mr. Samson Nwachukwu
