Harrison Retrieved ₦2.8M forcefully stole from Nigerian Citizen by the Police

Human Rights Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu Retrieved ₦2.8 millions Nigerian police stole from it citizens.

Disclosing the development on his Facebook, Harrison said:

Our team successfully retrieved 2.8 million naira from Anti Cultism Unit of Rivers State Police Command and handed over to the victim.

For your safety, if you reside in Portharcourt, Please delete your bank debit alert messages, Credit alert, bank app etc. Immediately you are arrested and they search your phones to see if you have money.

Some officers are Armed Robbers using legal police uniforms to carry out daylight robbery, and if they are not stopped, it will lead to another massive protest.

The five Police officers that transferred 2.8million naira from their victim’s account to a POS operator are currently detained by the order of the Rivers State Commissioner of Police.

We as an organisation do not have the power to prosecute or dismiss these rogues but the ball is in the court of the Police Authority to clean up their system and build a better image.

We have helped them by providing the faces, names of the officers and also bank accounts they used for their illegal operations.

Special thanks to Rivers State Police Commissioner, IGP CRU Abuja for their continued support to our team in Portharcourt led by Adebayor Steve.

For complaint, the Behind Bars Human Rights Head Office is located @ 370 Nnebisi roads opposite Kilimanjaro Fast Food Asaba, Delta State.
