On 4th July, 2022 at about 7:45pm, a Nigerian named Chidiebere left Onitsha Shoprite and on his way home, officers from Central Police Station onitsha arrested him after seeing him with IPHONE .

ONE OF THE OFFFICER’S NAME IS HARRISON EMERENINI

“If you don’t settle, you will be tagged an IPOB member”, and out of fear, Chidiebere became their victim and willingly agreed to their terms of PAY and GO.

They took him to CPS Police Station Onitsha where they stripped him off his clothe and pushed him inside the cell.

Chidiebere shouted from the cell and agreed to their terms. He was brought out from the cell and giving account number where he transferred N595,000 and another N5,500, total N600,500.00

After payment, they freed Chidiebere at about 2:00am. Someone they arrested 7:45pm.

Yesterday, we were at CPS Onitsha to seek for refund and today we received the money in full.

These officers have continued to destroy the image of the police and we can’t continue to hide them.

We urge the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State to act on this complaint, investigate and order for the arrest and prosecution of these officers. THIS IS NOT POLICING.
