Peter Obi Promises Cuts In Cost Of Governance, Diaspora Voting

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has promịsed to reduce the cost of governance if elected Nigeria’s next president.

He said this at a town hall meeting in Frankfurt, Germany on Friday.

Sharing photos and part of his comments from the meeting, Obi said, that involving Nigerians in diaspora in the electoral process will be part of his plans.

Obi said, “We will continue to engage the Nigerian Diaspora in ways that is mutually beneficial. By 2027 election, Nigerian Diaspora must have a voice via absentee ballots.

“We will have zero tolerance for corruption and will cut the cost of governance.”
