Umahi May Likely Become Another Villain In Our Political History

By Dordoh Okerafor

“Dave Umahi may likely become another villain in our political history and we must be worried at the pettiness of Igbo politicians towards the collective aspirations of Nigerian youths…”

“No Yoruba governor, Senator, HoR member or any politician of note or business leader has made his opposition to Mr. Peter Obi open…”

“Yes, many support Tinubu but never would you hear any of them sound like an idiot the way Hope Uzodimma did recently….”

“No Hausa-Fulani governor (except the diminutive Nasir El Rufai) has come out openly to dismiss Mr. Peter Obi and his quest for presidency.”

“Yes, again they support other candidates but across Benue, Taraba, and other places, supporters of Peter Obi are holding their rallies without any form of harassment or intimidation, at least for now…”

“Across South South, Peter Obi’s supporters are actively mobilising. No one has attacked them….”

“Now tell me why Abakiliki in Ebonyi State under Dave Umahi has now become the first state in Nigeria where tear gas was used on Peter Obi’s supporters?”

“Dave Umahi’s campaign in 2015 was sponsored by an Anambra man, he was a virtual unknown despite his claims of being a billionaire at 25.”

“I met Dave Umahi in 2014 when he was deputy governor. Nothing about him portrays him as a wealthy man much less a billionaire.”

“Today he is governor and he is trying to clown his way into ignominy.”

“Ndi Igbo must take not of these evil political seeds in our land and begin to ask relevant questions…”

“What is Dave Umahi trying to achieve by stopping Peter Obi’s supporters as reported on Channels TV?”

“What favour is he trying to gain from Tinubu or Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi’s rivals?”

“Is whatever he hopes to get better than the freedom guaranteed citizens by the constitution Umahi himself swore to uphold?”

“Is Umahi not making himself an eternal enemy of Ndigbo like say Orji Uzor Kalu or Rochas Okorocha or Ukpabi Asika before them?”

“Can Umahi survive the anger of his new enemies?”

“Caution Mr. Umahi. Again, caution.”
