A video showing late Big Brother Naija housemate, Rico Swavey, lying prone with disorganised health workers about him has sparked anger at nurses and hospitals on Twitter NG.
A tweep, who shared the video simply said, “Health attendants were just making videos and laughing while someone was dying. Sorry rico #ricoswavey.”
Trailing that video has been anger at the health workers, who failed to take prompt action.
A tweep, Warlo said, “I just saw a video of Rico in the hospital dying and the nurses were busy making videos and laughing. SMH if they don’t end up in prison then Nigeria is not ready for change.”
Egai Eto said, “From this video, it was negligence and unprofessionalism from the nurses that caused the death of Rico Swavey. This hospital should be closed and the license of those nurses should be seized.”
Samuel Otigba tweeted, “Anytime I watch that video of the nurses joking, laughing & making needless videos of Rico for social media instead of giving him the necessary urgent attention needed to save his life, my heart breaks over again cause he could have survived. RIP Rico.”
Ayeesha lamented, “Last night When Tobi posted the picture of Rico on life support still wearing belt and short that was wen I knew the medical team in charge are not it. Now seeing that video of a nurse making video n laughing. Nigeria and its people will kill you faster than your problem.”
